US signals to fix China ties but ‘credible sincerity’ needed; Washington to be ‘lone wolf’ in ‘new cold war’ against China
[Image: aac465b3-e6a2-4206-b109-4c9ce8a3e6ab.jpeg]
The US "decoupling" and containment strategy against China is in trouble - US media recently found that Washington is getting lonely in its clash with Beijing, as many of its key allies, including France, as well as the US' domestic companies like Intel and Tesla, are reluctant to follow the White House's wrong policy toward China.

The US might become a "lone wolf" in the "new cold war" it launched against China, experts said on Tuesday.

Noticing the US seeks to communicate with China, they stressed it is unlikely Washington will admit its strategy failure or effectively correct its wrong policy after the latest US provocation on the Taiwan question has caused new tension in the region.

PETALING JAYA: Social media users praised leaders from Umno and DAP, once bitter rivals, after they got together for a “buka puasa” event in Penang over the weekend.

They gave DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng and Balik Pulau Umno chief Shah Headan Ayoob Shah the thumbs up after the duo posted pictures of the event on Facebook.

The ongoing scandal over leaked US intel documents, explained
Posted by: superadmin - 04-11-2023, 03:07 PM - Forum: Politics - No Replies

The files reveal closely held information about US operations, like a suggestion there are up to 100 NATO special operations officials in Ukraine, and details about casualty counts for both Russia and Ukraine. They indicate that the US has infiltrated Russian intelligence groups and has inside knowledge of hacking attempts on a Canadian pipeline. And they show in some detail what the US has gleaned from spying on partners such as Israel and South Korea.

And most bizarrely, the documents surfaced more than a month earlier on anonymous, decentralized web forums dedicated to gaming, like a Discord channel devoted to Minecraft and after that on 4chan.

The classified files emerged as recently photographed folded documents that may have appeared as daily briefings for the military’s top leaders. If they are authentic, the documents represent a major intelligence breach and offer insights into the US role in defending Ukraine from Russia’s invasion and other major geopolitical arenas.

Chinese scientists find a way to restore body’s cancer-fighting cells

  • Peer-reviewed study provides ‘new strategies’ to enhance immunotherapy treatments based on the immune system’s natural killers
  • The researchers say they have identified why some cells lose their ability to detect and fight off tumours, and how to fix it

[Image: 967b3f63-2dad-415a-8e96-15f4822cedd2_b76...1681110414]

Researchers in China have a published a study which they say opens up new strategies to boost the body’s first line of defence against cancer and other diseases.

While the immune system’s natural killer (NK) cells can recognise and kill tumours and virus-infected cells at a very early stage, most advanced-stage tumorous cells somehow manage to avoid detection.
