KUALA LUMPUR – Perikatan Nasional (PN) Youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari (Pasir Mas-PN) ticked off several government-affiliated MPs during his debate of the royal address today, when he highlighted numerous past incidents.
Fadhli said Parliament must act on prevalent racist speeches, as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah had instructed Malaysians to avoid racial issues.
In response to DAP National Chairman Lim Guan Eng’s (Bagan-PH) earlier debate highlighting issues that oppressed non-Muslims, Fadhli countered by mentioning ex-DAP member “Superman” Hew Kuan Yau’s arrest for his “disgusting” speech.
He was citing the speech verbatim, before Chow Yu Hui (Raub-PH) clarified that Hew’s comments were directed at racists, not at Malays as a whole.
ONE wonders what makes the lawsuit filed by former Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali against former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir and the government regarding the termination of his contract ‘so special’ that the quantum of settlement cannot be divulged to the public.
While it can be understood that the terms of the settlement of the lawsuit are classified as confidential under the Official Secrets Act 1972, at least such secrecy should not be extended to the quantum of the settlement.
After all, the money to settle the lawsuit belongs to taxpayers, hence, the Malaysian public has every right to know how much Putrajaya has agreed to pay Apandi as settlement or whether the government has made the right decision to pay him that sum of money.
Today, the environmental protection industry has been highly valued by many countries, and many industries are required to follow the principles of environmental protection. As an important part of the manufacturing industry, the wire and cable industry must develop in the direction of environmental protection. The requirements are becoming more and more stringent, and industrial upgrading is imperative. .
In recent years, with the continuous development of the economy, the cable industry has gradually begun to pay attention to the promotion and popularization of the environmental protection level of wire and cable. Many cities and regions have begun to ban non-environmentally friendly wires and cables. In many public places, such as subway stations, high-speed rail stations, railway stations, shopping malls and other crowded areas, the requirements for the use of wires and cables are very high, and the safe use of wires and cables is becoming more and more important. The stricter!
What are the characteristics of environmentally friendly low-smoke halogen-free cables?
1. Low smoke: when burning, there is only a light water mist, and the visible distance is more than 60 meters
2. Non-toxic: no toxic substances
3. Flame retardant: through the irradiation cross-linking process, the wire can achieve the effect of flame retardant
4. Long lifespan: anti-aging, lifespan can reach more than ten years
5. High temperature resistance: during use, the maximum working temperature can reach 150 degrees
6. Environmental protection standard: in line with EU and Japanese environmental protection standards
Due to these features, environmentally friendly LSZH cables are becoming more and more popular. The primary requirements for environmentally friendly wires and cables are low smoke, halogen-free, and heavy metal-free, and there are corresponding requirements for waste treatment and recycling. Therefore, only wire and cable products that conform to the development of the times can effectively enhance the competitiveness of cable manufacturers. Environmentally friendly cables will effectively promote the development of the cable industry, improve and innovate green industries, and make the cable industry continue to develop and become wider and wider.

Of treacherous Muhyiddin going against Agong’s wish for Anwar to complete 5-year term
THE real power behind the Opposition leader has spoken: it’s a declaration of war as Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin has completely ignored the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s (YDPA) wishes that he (the King) will not swear in another Prime Minister (PM) before his five-year reign ends next January.
Yesterday (Feb 15), I criticised Opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin for failing the Agong’s test to ensure political stability for the next five years to allow the country to unite a very polarised plural nation.
I said that Hamzah failed the minimum test to give an undertaking that Anwar would be the last PM – the 16th – that the YDPA will swear in before the end of his five-year reign next January.
