Surreptitious motives behind probe into Nazlan, says Ramasamy
PETALING JAYA: Penang deputy chief minister P Ramasamy says the uproar over the investigation into Court of Appeal judge Nazlan Mohd Ghazali is not about giving him “immunity from prosecution” but rather to question the “surreptitious motives” behind the probe.
The DAP leader agreed that no judge is above the law but that the dispute is more about the attack against the judiciary over decisions that did not favour a former prime minister.
“I don’t think Nazlan is a special person who requires immunity from prosecution. He is no different than any of us.
