PETALING JAYA: Pejuang, which is facing an unusual delay in its registration by the Registrar of Societies (RoS), is open to contesting on other party tickets if the need arises in GE15.
Party leader Mukhriz Mahathir said among the options would be Sabah-based Warisan, adding that its candidates would not stand as independents.
Speaking at a Sinar Harian forum yesterday, Mukhriz said Warisan was a possible option in the event that Pejuang’s registration was left unapproved by the RoS.
“We will not be contesting as independent candidates. At best, we must be part of a political party. There are several options and we will consider the matter,” he said in response to a question on whether Warisan was able to expand to the Peninsula.
