What should I know before starting Exforge 10/160mg Tablet for high blood pressure?
#1
Hi everyone,

my doctor just prescribed me Exforge 10/160mg Tablet for my high blood pressure. I understand it combines amlodipine and valsartan, but I’d love to hear from others who’ve used it. How effective has it been in controlling your BP?

Did you experience any side effects like dizziness, swelling, or fatigue? Also, is it safe to take it long-term, and are there any foods or medications I should avoid while using it? I’d appreciate any advice or personal experiences to help me manage this treatment better.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

I’ve been taking Exforge 10/160mg Tablet for about a year to manage my high blood pressure, and it’s been quite effective. My BP stabilized within a few weeks of consistent use. The tablet combines amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and valsartan (an angiotensin receptor blocker), which work together to relax blood vessels and improve blood flow.

In my experience, mild dizziness and slight ankle swelling occurred during the first month but improved as my body adjusted. Exforge 10/160mg Tablet is generally safe for long-term use under medical supervision.

Avoid grapefruit juice, excessive alcohol, and NSAIDs (like ibuprofen) unless approved by your doctor. Always stay hydrated and monitor your BP regularly.

Everyone reacts differently, so it’s best to keep your doctor updated on any side effects or unusual symptoms.
