I always knew that extra virgin olive oil had healthy fats, but I don't understand why one is better than vegetable oil. Both have 2g of saturated fat. They are identical in polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat content.

While the fat content may be similar, the quality of those fats and the nutrients in them make olive oil a healthier choice. Plus, it's often less processed, which preserves its natural properties.
