Investigate Tun M and his children first, urges PM’s pol-sec

THE Prime Minister's Senior Political Secretary Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin stressed that nobody is above the law and urged the authorities to investigate former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

"Investigate all those with the title "Tun" starting with Dr Mahathir and his family.

"Dr Mahathir's sarcastic statement that all those with the title "Tun" should be remanded until they reveal the source of their money shows just how arrogant he is," he said in a statement on X.

Yesterday, Dr Mahathir said all “Tuns” should be investigated and if they cannot explain where or how they got the money, their property should be seized.

Commenting with sarcasm, he said obtaining documentary evidence of their misdeeds was unnecessary and that suspicions alone should be enough.

“Tuns should not only be investigated. They should also be remanded until they reveal the source of their money. If they don’t, it must be because they are hiding,” he had said in a post on X.
