All eyes on Anwar over PKR’s multiracial credentials

PETALING JAYA: Anwar Ibrahim has been the undisputed leader of PKR for more than two decades but as the party meets for the second time since he was appointed prime minister, questions abound over its multiracial credentials.

According to a source, non-Malay party leaders and members have been complaining among themselves about being increasingly sidelined since Anwar’s rise to power, despite strongly backing both him and the party over many years.
