“Ignore Tun M and Hadi, they are troublemakers,” Saifuddin says

HOME Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has advised people to just ignore veteran politicians like former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, whom he regards as “troublemakers”.

Saifuddin claimed that Dr Mahathir and his new-found ally Hadi have been causing trouble for the past three decades when they should be building the nation and the duo have contributed towards destabilising the government over the past five years.

“In the last five years, both have created (political) instability in the country due to their selfish interests, not the country’s interest.

“So right now, during the candidate announcement, it’s broadcasted live in the country and overseas.

“Let people know that even though the state election is in Kedah, we want to assert that we no longer want to mention these two characters. This is the end of it, we move on,” Saifuddin said in his speech at the launching of Unity Kedah manifesto and candidate introduction in Bandar Laguna Merbok, Alor Setar, Kedah last night (July 27).
