Anwar won’t be like Najib, says Rafizi on PM holding finance portfolio

KULIM: PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli is confident that Anwar Ibrahim will not become a finance minister like former prime minister Najib Razak after he took over the finance portfolio.

Rafizi said he is confident the prime minister will not be like Najib as he has a different character and upbringing.

“Secondly, I don’t think any minister can steal money like before because there is no money (left), it has been stolen,” he said at a ceramah here in support of Pakatan Harapan’s candidate for the Padang Serai election, Sofee Razak, last night.

“That is why I am worried about (losing) my hair. After this, I might have to wear a kopiah to cover (my bald head) because there is no money.
