Umno infighting taking toll on economy, says think tank

PETALING JAYA: A think tank has called for the next general election (GE15) to be expedited, saying infighting within Umno is taking a toll on the economy.

The Center for Market Education’s CEO, Carmelo Ferlito, said instability in Umno, the party of Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob, appeared to be diverting attention from efforts to solve economic problems.
