Will it be goodbye forever as youths leave Malaysia for a better future?

I was having a chat with my circle of friends recently during the lunar new year about a week ago, we had a small gathering as we talked about how we all were and what we were planning to do in the future; with most of them saying that they want to leave the country to pursue better careers or a better livelihood.

Without a shred of doubt in my mind, most of them, I believe, will end up in another country. Ultimately I can’t advise them on how to live their life, but the majority of us can see what’s going on and must be wondering whether it’s worth staying or going overseas. There is a recent escalation of this issue, as Malaysia slides deeper into becoming an unjust society, many people made the sad or angry choice that their life and future would be better spent somewhere else.
