My heart and soul no longer in politics, says Rafizi on calls to return

PETALING JAYA: PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli, faced with pleas for him to return to active politics, has said he had lost interest and “my heart and soul is no longer in politics”.

However, he has not shut the door completely, and was still considering a return. Rafizi said he could not escape such calls, especially from fellow PKR colleagues and party grassroots.

Rafizi said he would need to consult his family, employees and investors in his data company Invoke before deciding to return to active politics.

He told FMT he would announce his decision on whether he would return to active politics, and if he would contest the party deputy presidency again during the party elections in April.

For the moment, he would monitor the situation, he said.
