KOTA KINABALU – Warisan is keen to contest in state seats within Johor’s Pasir Gudang federal constituency and is currently identifying the most suitable local candidates to represent them.
In an article by the Star, its president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal reportedly said that his party will be announcing their list once the time is right.
“Warisan had gone nationwide in December last year, but we did not contest in the Melaka state election to give way to Pakatan Harapan (PH).
“However, this time, we feel that we need to provide a choice to the people of Johor,” he reportedly said in a press conference after meeting with Pasir Gudang residents near Pasar Muafakat Sabah in Pasir Gudang, yesterday.
