JOHOR BARU – Relying on Johor Wanita PKR chief Napsiah Khamis Maharan’s extensive work in the Puteri Wangsa constituency, the party is demanding Muda to back off from running for the seat.

In an open letter issued by PKR deputy information chief Manivanan Gowin, he took the opportunity to explain that his party’s grassroots are not satisfied with Muda’s takeover of the constituency.

During initial discussions for seat distributions in Johor, he said PKR proposed Napsiah as a candidate for the constituency.

“However, on the principles of friendship, PKR gave the seat to Amanah. After which Amanah and DAP’s leadership gave the seat to Muda.”

Due to the extensive and aggressive work done by Napsiah over the past year, as well as the coordination of party machinery in the area, Manivanan proposed it would be best if Muda surrendered the constituency back to PKR.

“If Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman is in this fight honestly and sincerely, he should consider giving back the seat to Napsiah, who has done aggressive work in Puteri Wangsa over the past year.

“This seat is winnable for the opposition, and the candidate should be one that worked in the constituency.”
