Wan Saiful challenges Umno leaders to name Zahid as PM candidate

PETALING JAYA: A Bersatu leader has taunted Johor Umno leaders Puad Zarkashi, Nur Jazlan Mohamed and Mohamed Khaled Nordin to nominate party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as the prime minister candidate in the 15th general election (GE15).

This comes after the Umno leaders challenged Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin to remain as Perikatan Nasiional’s (PN) poster boy for the upcoming Johor state elections.

Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan said if they cannot name Zahid as the prime minister candidate for Umno, they must stop attacking his president.
