KUANTAN – Perikatan Nasional (PN) intends to contest in all 14 Parliament seats and 42 state seats in Pahang in the coming 15th general election (GE15), said Pahang PN chairman Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah.
As preparation, he said, the discussion on seat allocations between parties in PN, namely Bersatu, PAS, and Gerakan, is at the initial stage, with each party sending two representatives.
“The three parties agree that there should be an initial discussion, and the small group will discuss candidly to work out the seat allocation formula for GE15.
"For the time being, the seats to be contested by the parties involved have to be referred to the respective party committees before being finalised,” he said.
Saifuddin, who is also Pahang Bersatu chief, said this in a media conference after attending the Indera Mahkota Bersatu division annual conference at Kompleks Dagangan Mahkota here today.
