Brace for another leader with slim majority, says ex-minister

PETALING JAYA: As MPs prepare to finalise the statutory declarations (SDs) on their choice for a new prime minister, a former minister says another premier with a slim majority may be possible.

Salleh Said Keruak said this is due to voting for the new prime minister “through political parties en bloc”.

“It seems we are going through another process of voting for a new PM based on party choices,” he said in a Facebook post this morning.

“Again, this means it becomes a battle of numbers with probably another slim majority.”
