PKR Must Realign Beyond PH To Form The Government

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) must realign itself with parties beyond the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition, said Nurul Izzah Anwar who is Permatang Pauh Member of Parliament.

In an exclusive interview with Sinar Harian Premium on Friday, she suggested that this will be the case for the coming 15th General Elections or forming a new government.

“The reality is, PKR must realign to form a new government, because no single party can govern by itself at this point in time.”

This comes amidst the current political instability, following a group of UMNO MPs’ open rebellion against Prime Minister Tan Sri Mahiaddin Md. Yasin.

Earlier this week, UMNO launched an attack against Perikatan Nasional (PN) and its President, Mahiaddin.

UMNO President, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a press conference said that Mahiaddin has lost majority support.
