Come out and protest against govt’s failure, people urged

PETALING JAYA: Sekretariat Solidariti Rakyat has called on the people to take part in a physical protest against the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration on July 31.

It said the protest, known as “Keluar Dan #Lawan” (Come Out And Fight), was a symbol of opposition against the current leadership.

“We invite everyone to take to the streets at a time and place which will be announced in the near future,” it said in a statement.

Sekretariat Solidariti Rakyat said this was because the government was incapable of navigating the country out of the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the economy, livelihoods and the people’s health.

“It’s time for us to have leaders who are self-aware, responsible and humble enough to understand the people,” it said.
