Hi everyone, 

I’m looking for advice on handling glass in residential doors. One of my doors has a cracked glass panel, and I’m unsure whether to repair it or replace the entire pane. Are there reliable repair methods for minor cracks, or is full replacement usually safer and more cost-effective? 

Also, what types of glass are easiest to work with for DIY fixes, and when should a professional be called in? Any tips on materials, tools, or precautions to consider during the process would be really helpful.
