How to Access OST File in New Outlook?
#1
If you want to access an OST file in New Outlook, it’s not possible to open it directly because OST is linked to the original Outlook profile and mailbox.

The workaround is:
  • If the Outlook profile is active: Simply set up the same account in New Outlook, and it will sync and rebuild the OST automatically.
  • If OST is orphaned (no account): You must first convert OST to PST using a BLR OST File Converter tool, then import the PST file into New Outlook.

So, in short, you can’t directly transfer OST file in new Outlook, but you can either reconnect the account or convert it to PST for access.
