Former Umno strongman describes PN govt’s situation as ‘weird and unique’

PETALING JAYA: Former Umno stalwart Syed Hamid Albar, who is now with Bersatu, said Perikatan Nasional (PN) admitted that the current situation of the government is “weird.”

“I have never seen such a government in any part of the world. Where is the collective responsibility when a person places one foot here and puts the other on the opposite side?” he told Utusan Malaysia in an interview.

He was referring to the current scenario where vocal Umno members, who are not in the administration, are at odds with those holding positions in the government or agencies linked to it.

“In my opinion, we should not have such a government. It is weird and unique.”
