Hey growers, I’ve been experimenting with different cannabis plant training techniques and wanted to share my experience while also hearing your thoughts. I’ve tried Low-Stress Training (LST), Screen of Green (SCROG), and a bit of topping, and honestly, each has its own benefits depending on the setup.
With SCROG, I noticed my plants developed a wide, even canopy that really helped maximize light coverage. It was perfect for my tent grow, but it required patience and constant adjustment. LST, on the other hand, felt easier and less stressful for the plants. By bending branches early, I managed to expose more bud sites without slowing down growth.
I’m curious—what’s your go-to training style? Do you prefer something simple like LST, or are you into more advanced techniques like mainlining or supercropping? Also, do you think trellis netting makes a big difference, or is it just extra work?
Looking forward to hearing from both indoor and outdoor growers. Let’s share tips so we can all get those healthy, high-yielding plants we’re after!
