Cooling Down Smartly in 2025
#1
Hey folks! With Singapore’s humidity kicking in again, I’ve started upgrading my home’s ceiling fans. It’s incredible how much of a difference a good fan makes in both comfort and electricity usage. I’m looking at models that offer quiet operation, powerful airflow, and a modern look to match the rest of my home.

My top pick right now is a kdk ceiling fan. They’re known for being reliable and efficient, plus their newer models come with energy-saving features like timers and eco modes. I visited a lighting shop recently, and the salesperson recommended the U60FW model for larger spaces like living rooms. Anyone here using that one?

Aside from air circulation, lighting is another area I’m upgrading. I’m switching to led lights across the entire house. I’ve already started with the kitchen and hallway, and the results are fantastic. LEDs light up the space evenly, and they don’t generate as much heat, which is important when fans are working hard already.

And I’m glad to say I’m using the climate voucher 2024 to support these upgrades. The $300 voucher has made it much easier to make smarter home improvements. I found a few lighting and fan shops that accept it, and they even had bundle deals that included both. Highly recommend checking if your local store is on the list!
