Can I swim in my pool while pregnant?
#1
So we are pregnant with our first baby and we have a backyard swimming pool that we are filling right now. However, my husband is asking if the chlorine is safe or if we should look into other methods? Any feedback is appreciated

I see it's been a while since you posted, but I'm curious if anyone swam regularly through their third trimester. I’m getting into mine soon and wondering how it felt physically—was it still comfortable or did it get awkward with the belly? I’ve heard swimming can help with swelling and back pain, but I’d love to hear more personal experiences with it as the pregnancy progresses.

I swam all through my last pregnancy, and it felt amazing, especially in the third trimester. I just made sure the chlorine levels were safe and the water wasn’t too hot. I got some helpful tips on keeping my pool clean and safe for pregnancy from https://backyardpoolspa.com/. It’s where I learned how to balance the chemicals properly without overdoing anything.
