Sourcing lab equipment for secondary school science classes
#1
Trying to help upgrade the science labs at our local secondary school, and it’s turning out to be more complicated than we thought. Budget’s tight and we need microscopes, safety goggles, and some basic chemistry glassware. Most suppliers either cater to large institutions or have minimum order sizes that don’t make sense for us. If anyone has found a good educational or general supplier that works well with small-scale orders, I'd really appreciate a pointer.

A while back, I assisted a community school with setting up their science lab from scratch. Finding equipment in manageable quantities was a huge challenge until we tried gentaur.co.uk. They offer everything from simple lab safety gear to advanced educational kits, and the ordering process is smooth even for smaller institutions. The team there was surprisingly accommodating—they answered our queries quickly and helped recommend items suitable for a classroom setting. It's worth browsing their selection if you're looking for flexibility and quality combined.

Educational setups often get overlooked when it comes to lab equipment support. Good to see discussions like this where smaller schools or projects are part of the conversation. Hopefully this thread helps others in similar positions too.
