Motivating quotes from famous cricketers
#1
A friend of mine who plays cricket always worries and has a hard time accepting his mistakes on the field. I would like to find some quotes from great players to show him that even the best have made mistakes, but never gave up. Do you have any suitable quotes?

Personally, I think giving up and losing heart is always the easier option. But it takes character to fight back for victory after every defeat, and that is a harder, but always rewarding path. One of my favorite cricket motivational quotes in English is from Anil Kumble: "I never believed in the idea that a player’s success is all about luck. It’s a blend of hard work, skill, and the right opportunities". So victories don't always come easy, and defeats are a natural experience that you learn from.
