Not until next polls, says Hadi on ‘toppling govt’
KUALA LUMPUR: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has dismissed claims that there are plans to topple the government headed by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
“Not until the next general election,” Hadi said when asked to respond on the claims.
He added that Perikatan Nasional (PN) will seek to widen its influence before the next polls, after snatching 73 seats in the recent general election.
When asked to confirm that there were no plans to topple the government, Hadi said PAS will consider the government’s performance and Malaysians’ response to Anwar’s administration first.
