Hadi Awang to give statement to police over provocative remarks
KUALA LUMPUR – PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang has been summoned by the police to provide a statement following several police reports lodged against him recently.
According to his press secretary Abdul Malik Ab Razak, the Marang MP will head to the Sentul district police headquarters around 3pm, today.
The latest update comes after Hadi had told Pakatan Harapan (PH) to go ahead and lodge a police report against him as he was ready to be called up to Bukit Aman.
PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil had earlier urged PAS to stop spreading “hate and misinformation” and challenged the party to initiate police probes if it believes that DAP – a PH component – was guilty of the accusations flung by Hadi.
