Unfamiliarity could see Warisan facing Peninsula voter contempt
KUALA LUMPUR: Klang Valley voters are likely to shun Warisan mainly because they are unfamiliar with the Sabah-based party, if a random and quick FMT survey is anything to go by.
Several voters questioned Warisan’s motive for contesting in the peninsula.
Nurulhuda Tahir, 36, who will be voting in Wangsa Maju in the general election, said she knew of the party but did not know it was contesting in her area. “I don’t know who the candidate is.”
She also said she was wary of the party’s motives.
