GE15 nomination day: crowded Batu to see 10-cornered fight
KUALA LUMPUR – The candidate nomination for the 15th general election (GE15) is in full swing this morning for all 222 parliamentary seats and 59 state seats in Perak, 42 in Pahang, and 15 in Perlis – not forgetting the Bugaya state by-election in Sabah.
The submission period of the nomination papers is between 9am and 10am at 222 nomination centres and the campaign period is set for 14 days until 11.59pm on November 18.
However, the Meteorological Department has predicted a wet day in several locations in the peninsula, Sabah, and Sarawak today.
Rain is expected in the morning in some locations in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor, as well as the interior of Sabah, Sandakan, Kudat, and Labuan.
Several locations in Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Johor, Sabah's west coast, and Sarawak’s Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong and Kapit should also expect rain at night.
