Ignore ‘noise’ from losers, let’s get on with work, says Rafizi
PETALING JAYA: PKR’s incoming deputy president Rafizi Ramli has urged the party to ignore the “noise” made by those who lost in the recent party elections.
Stating that it was unfortunate that those who lost could not accept their defeat and instead, kept on pressuring party president Anwar Ibrahim to call for a re-election or forensic audit, Rafizi said they should instead work towards regaining the public’s trust in the party.
Rafizi said those who lost in the party elections wanted to create the perception that his victory was due to manipulation.
“The party will be caught up in the political games of certain individuals despite the fact that the majority of PKR members have accepted the results,” he said in a statement.
