PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s (DBKL) denial of appointing Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) to replace 200 lamp posts in the Klang Valley has raised more questions than answers, says a DAP MP.
In a statement yesterday, DBKL denied reports it gave the RM30.75 million contract to SCIB, which was awarded allegedly via Ennova Sdn Bhd.
This was despite SCIB making a filing with Bursa Malaysia saying it had been awarded the job.
DBKL said it never authorised any third party to appoint SCIB nor any of its subsidiaries to carry out projects. In a statement yesterday, DBKL denied reports it gave the RM30.75 million contract to SCIB, which was awarded allegedly via Ennova Sdn Bhd.
