No tit for tat, PKR won’t contest Muda’s seats

PETALING JAYA: PKR will not “infringe” on seats allocated to Pakatan Harapan’s partners and those offered to Muda in the Johor elections, its state leader, Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, said.

He said PKR would not do so out of respect for its PH allies Amanah and DAP.

Yesterday, Muda unveiled Rasid Abu Bakar as its candidate for the Larkin seat after PKR had already announced Dr Zamil Najwah Arbain as its pick on Feb 14.

“I deeply regret Muda’s action (in announcing its own candidate) because it clearly disrespects the spirit of unity the opposition should adopt in championing the interests of  the people and the state of Johor.
