As for me, I tried a lot of cheap and basic headphones before my AirPods https://www.apple.com/airpods/ — I got them two years ago, and they still work perfectly. They connect instantly, don't lose connection during calls, and the sound is great when listening to music. I had a lot of problems with other headphones, like one thing or another not working. So, you're really paying for stability, not just the brand.
