No payment yet for MySejahtera app developers

PETALING JAYA: The government is in the midst of finalising the method and details of payments for the MySejahtera application developers after its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) model ceased on March 31, said Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

In a reply to Lanang MP Alice Lau, who had asked Ismail in Parliament how much the app cost, the prime minister said no payment has been made to the developers yet.

“However, in line with the importance of MySejahtera as a national app in Covid-19 e -management that may be upgraded, the government has decided to make payments beginning April 1.”

He said evaluation for the payments are being led by the Malaysian administrative modernisation and management planning unit (Mampu).
