Choose carefully, not all in old Cabinet were liked, PM advised

PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob must take the rakyat’s sentiments against the previous administration into consideration when picking his Cabinet, says an Umno Youth leader.

Speaking to FMT, Federal Territories Umno Youth chief Mohamed Nizham Abdullah Hamidi said the prime minister has the prerogative to shape his Cabinet.

He said while it was important that efforts to address the health and economic crises should be continued, public sentiment was also important.

“The people are not happy with the management of several critical areas, especially health and the economy. So he must first evaluate the performance of the previous Cabinet.”
