Netizens still remember and laughing aloud at Dr Siti Mastura’s expense

NETIZENS are still poking fun at Kepala Batas MP Dr Siti Mastura Mohamad who had suggested that certain DAP leaders were related to communist insurgent Chin Peng and former Singapore premier Lee Kuan Yew.

What tickled many people’s collective funny bone initially was the Penang PAS sole female MP’s apparent lack of understanding over Chinese surnames as she feebly tried to link “Lims” with “Lees”. She also seemed to suggest that Chinese individuals with the same surname were automatically related.

Having been ridiculed, the 34-year-old PhD holder has since been hauled to court by DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng, his father Kit Siang and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok over those statements which she made at a PAS by-election shindig in Kemaman, Terengganu on Nov 4 last year.

Interestingly, a recent post on cleric Ustaz Harun Jail’s Facebook page has featured a meme suggesting that the Perikatan Nasional (PN) lawmaker would claim that coffee shop staple teh peng (iced tea) was formulated by Chin Peng.

The post warned netizens to not fall for a secret ploy by secret organisations to get people to inadvertently support Israel.
