The Field of Play: The Present Way

There are those who choose to dwell on the past, while others choose to dream about or long for the future.  For example, by the end of 2024, there was a widespread belief that a significant earthquake would occur in Japan in July 2025, as per a prophecy in the 1999 manga The Future I Saw by Ryo Tatsuki.  The spread of it in multiple Asian countries has resulted in a significant drop in the number of people visiting Japan for vacation.

In a separate instance, Mor Plai (Thai for “Ghost Whisperer”) was accused of causing unnecessary panic by two prominent lawyers who took legal action against her, alleging that she had caused panic on August 5, 2025.  It has been claimed that she predicted the recurrence of Thai-Cambodian border clashes and advised those living in the area to stay away from their homes.  The forecast caused unnecessary panic, and she was held legally responsible for its possible consequences.

What can we take away from the incidents above?  The lesson we learned here is that the present is always the place to play.  Marcus Aurelius, the Roman emperor and Stoic philosopher, asserted that everything we see is a perspective, not the truth; everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.  The future reality is nothing less than a triumphant display of vibrational frequency competitions in Mother Nature.

For general comprehension, frequency is described as the speed at which something occurs or repeats in a given period of time.  This means that the responsibility for the future reality lies with the party that asserts it, namely, the respective traits of consciousness.  Just like competing and growing seeds, where any gardener who becomes the first person to turn the dormant seed into a living thing would win the race.  This means that the future reality is all about infinite possibilities, and it is navigated in the present condition only.

Ultimately, the present moment is the sole source of all perceptual realities.  To assume that all events are predestined or cast in stone beforehand is a delusion.  It's not wise to have too much faith in speculation about future events.  In fact, Tatsuki herself advised, "Don't be overly swayed by my dreams".  So, stop looking into a crystal ball and embrace living in the present moment.  The only time that beautiful things occur is in the present moment.

Note: A significant earthquake occurred on July 30, albeit from a different location, much later in the month.  A tsunami wave from the 2025 Kamchatka earthquake on the Eastern coast of Russia caused damage to the Hokkaido region at 10:40 am JST.  The relevant parties have a palpable influence on the present moment, which is evident in this.

The Untouted Healing Power
 

There are times when we experience an itch, a sensation that prompts us to scratch.  It’s your body’s way of signaling that something is irritating your skin or your nerves.  Itching can be either localised (in a single area) or generalised (all over the body).  Histamine and other chemicals are released chemically when skin cells or immune cells are irritated.  In other words, itching and redness are caused by histamine, which activates sensory nerves.  Antihistamines are helpful for allergic or histamine-related itching.
