Austro Ivermectin 12 mg Tablet includes Ivermectin, a medication in the antiparasitic agent class. It is used to treat parasitic infections such as intestinal strongyloidiasis (infection of the intestine caused by a type of roundworm called Strongyloides stercoralis), Wuchereria bancrofti infection in blood and tissues, and human scabies (an infectious disease of the skin) after other treatments have failed. It can also be used to cure onchocerciasis. (also known as river blindness, a parasitic disease caused by Onchocerca volvulus).
Inform your doctor if you have loa loa (an eye infection), have a weak immune system, or are taking any other medications for other illnesses before taking Austro Ivermectin 12 mg Tablet.
Austro-Ivermectin 12 mg Tablet should not be used by pregnant or nursing women unless otherwise directed by a doctor. Before taking this medication, consult your doctor.
Austro-Ivermectin 6 mg Tablet's safety and efficacy in children weighing less than 15 kg have not been studied. In elderly patients, Austro Ivermectin 12 mg Tablet should be used with care. (aged 65 years and above).
The most frequent side effects of Austro-Ivermectin 12 mg Tablet include diarrhoea, nausea, dizziness, itching, and a rapid heart rate. If any of the side effects increase, contact your doctor.
