Govt won’t ‘go after’ Azam Baki but will ensure MACC’s independence, says Rafizi - superadmin - 12-05-2022 PUTRAJAYA: Economic affairs minister Rafizi Ramli said the new government will not be going after Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief Azam Baki, but will focus on ensuring the independence of the anti-graft agency. “The priority is to make everything independent. Once we ensure that there is no interference and all are independent, then everyone should be on the right course,” he told reporters here today.
