EC, MACC must probe, take action against vote-buying: Abun Sui - superadmin - 12-16-2021 MIRI – The authorities have been urged to investigate the contents of a video which is making its rounds online purportedly showing money being offered to attendees at a Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) longhouse event. Sarawak PKR information chief Abun Sui said the video clearly showed a person standing beneath a GPS banner. “The video shows the man below a big GPS banner, talking on a stage located in a longhouse. “He is clearly heard as saying to his audience that money will be given to voters and it is to be collected from a certain person after polling. “The Election Commission and MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) must probe and take action swiftly. “This blatant use of money to entice voters must be stopped now. - More -
