Outrage over whisky but not wastage of RM620mil, laments Syed Saddiq - superadmin - 11-03-2021 KUALA LUMPUR: Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has asked fellow MPs to show the same outrage over the auditor-general’s expose on the loss of RM620 million in leakages as they did on the Timah whisky name controversy. “For the last two weeks, we have been hearing a lot about the Timah issue on a daily basis, especially on the renaming of the whisky,” the independent MP said during the debate on the 2022 Supply Bill in the Dewan Rakyat. “We have had a Cabinet meeting that involved three ministries on this matter despite this company existing in Malaysia for a long time. “Will we give the same attention to the issue of the RM620 million loss in leakages?
