Major row over Muhyiddin’s majority - superadmin - 07-30-2021 PETALING JAYA: The Dewan Rakyat descended into chaos today after a PAS MP claimed Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had the majority to lead the government. Ahmad Tarmizi Sulaiman (PAS-Sik) made the claim while debating the national vaccination programme. “I want to correct (everyone and say) that YB Pagoh has the majority to lead the country,” he said referring to a statement made by Ong Kian Ming (PH-Bangi) that no one has the majority at the moment. However, this caused a stir among the opposition MPs who asked for proof. RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) immediately stood up asking for a vote to be held. - More -
