Austria’s AT&S to invest RM8.5bil to set up plant in Kulim - superadmin - 06-10-2021 KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia has been chosen by Austria-based AT&S, a global manufacturing leader of high-end printed circuit boards (PCBs) and integrated circuit (IC) substrates, as the site for its first production plant in Southeast Asia. The facility, which involves a proposed total investment of RM8.5 billion, will be set up in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. It will produce high-end PCBs and IC substrates, senior minister and international trade and industry minister Azmin Ali said in a statement today. It is expected to create 5,000 high-tech and high-impact jobs, he said. - More -
