Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how tough it is for families who take care of loved ones at home. My cousin has been caring for her dad after a stroke, and she’s basically had to reduce her work hours, which has been stressful financially. It made me wonder if there are any government programs or support systems that can help people in situations like hers.
