What is the main airport in Seattle? - Airline Airport - 07-28-2025

Seattle itself has just one airport serving the city: Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), or Sea-Tac for short. This airport does nearly all commercial domestic and international aeronautical services to and from Seattle. There is Boeing Field, known individually as King County International Airport; this is a smaller airport than SeaTac, but has almost as many aircraft operating on a cargo airline, some private aviation, and some regional services.

At the state level, Washington has many more airports, several of them major in addition to Spokane International Airport (the major airport in eastern Washington) Tri-Cities Airport in Pasco, Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee, and Yakima Air Terminal. And, Washington has a huge number of small regional and municipal airports throughout the state providing service to private planes and local aviation.
