PETALING JAYA: Veteran actor Hans Isaac has brushed off claims he is eyeing the Ampang parliamentary seat in the next general election.
He told FMT he joined PKR after the Sheraton Move last February as he felt the party best suited him in terms of its direction and ideology.
“I spoke to party president Anwar Ibrahim. I felt the party’s direction and policies were right (for me) and it does not leave anyone behind,” he said.
There had been speculation on social media that Isaac would be running against the incumbent, housing and local government minister Zuraida Kamaruddin.
However, he said it was not for him to decide if he should be contesting in the coming elections.
