PETALING JAYA: DAP chairman Lim Guan Eng has hit out at Umno for “distorting facts and figures” about the party in an attempt to regain power in the next general election (GE15).
The former finance minister refuted a claim by Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob that DAP dominated the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government, pointing out that only six of the 29 ministers in the PH Cabinet were from the party.
“Ismail should go back (to school) and learn how to count if he believes that six out of 29 Cabinet members equals dominating the Cabinet,” he said in a statement.
“Umno is playing on extremist sentiments to win the general election by blaming everything on DAP.”
